In the spirit of ideas worth spreading, TEDxMonterey (x = independently organized TED event) will bring together community leaders, artists, writers, and intellectuals to explore the theme: “Be the Solution.” The event will take place on April 16th, 2010 in the Irvine Auditorium at the Monterey Institute of International Studies. Those unable to attend can tune in via our Livestream. As the former home of the TED conference, we are delighted to bring TEDx to Monterey!
We hope to spark conversation toward solutions inspired by possibility, perseverance, and hope. Our speakers will showcase their creative and innovative talents, tackling issues such as the environmental sustainability, nuclear non-proliferation, education, and community development.
